Welcome to the home for the Founding Fathers Party Founded in 2003, the Founding Fathers Party strives for the ideals described by this great country's Founding Fathers. Our hope is that the course of the country can be returned to the course on which it was set. A course that lets all people live free. Free to make their own path. We like to think that the Founding Fathers Party is the dream that sits at the core of the Republican Party, but without the "vote getting" double-dealing, socialism, victimism, religion, oppression, corruption, or rampant taxation of the other parties. In practice, we're using this site as a forum for our thoughts to develop our political platform, get a feel for how receptive Americans are to the Founding principles, and just generally engage in political debates on every subject. We invite everyone to register and participate in our online forum. Why do we ask you to register before posting to our forum? Our forum is not a simple "blog". We're not looking for drive-by comments from the anonymous peanut gallery. We want to have on-going, thoughtful debate with concerned people. The information you provide remains anonymous unless you choose settings that allow others to see that information. We hope to discourage the casual posts you might see on personal blog sites, but we strongly encourage open debate with everyone. Obviously, we feel the principles that became the Founding documents, especially the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights, are the great compromise that made the United States Of America greater than any other system or country. In our debates, hopefully we can sway some opinions toward that compromise. |
